About the appeal
Kent Cancer Trust was established to relieve the suffering of cancer patients and improve the provision of cancer care within the Kent area.One in three people in Kent will get cancer. Until recently there has been no county-wide charity to support research into cancer and training for cancer doctors, scientists and practitioners.
Their Mission is:
• To relieve the suffering of cancer patients and improve the provision of cancer care within the Kent area
• The development and training of cancer clinicians, medical staff and students.
• The promotion of research into the cause and treatment of cancer with a view to the development of new treatments.
• The advancement of education and awareness of the public in the cause and treatment of cancer.
